Christmas carols always begin with cosmogonic carols about the creation of the World, and then praise all family members with personal wishes for each. It has recently been established that songs have their own energy. Interestingly, the oldest Ukrainian songs have great energy. And the most interesting thing is that the greatest energy is precisely in carols and Christmas gifts. It is recorded in Roman chronicles that this is such an ancient rite of the Etruscans that only the most gifted Magi comprehend its original essence. And this means that the age of these songs is at least 5000-7000 years. It is interesting that the bounties were preserved only in Ukraine. The ancient customs and rites of our people are beginning to return from oblivion and silence. Most people still know them very poorly. But there is no present without the past.

All this is sung about in carols, which were known long before the beginning of Christian times in Ukraine, it is also found in ordinary rituals, such as: twelve wormwood, twelve Christmas Eve dishes, calling for a dinner of frost, a wolf, a black storm and evil winds, grandfather on penance, hay on the table. All these movements, actions and words, which at first glance have no meaning in a person's life, blow on the heart of each of us with the charm of the native element and are a living balm for the soul that fills it with powerful strength.

(В.Войтович, Сокол- Род, 1997) Для провозглашения Бога-Творца народ создал огромное количество торжественных гимнов-песен о сотворении мира, почитании Солнца, Луны, Богини Дани и их потомков-людей - колядок и щедровок. Заметим, что колядки почти никогда, а щедривки никогда не пекут днем – ими величают Праздник Щедрого вечера, Луны и Звезды. Это праздник веры в Свет, чтобы люди жили лучше, чтобы земля лучше родила, чем в прошлом году, чтобы будущие дети и внуки Рода жили веселее.
