Одна фигура могла представлять собой погибель. Ей обмазывали мукой лицо, вставляли зубы из репы, обертывали в простыню, она была молчаливой фигурой. И как раз эту фигуру никто не хотел играть. И ее выбирали путем жеребьевки. Она была абсолютно статическая – ее заводили, клали на скамейке и она не должна была что-то делать. Кроме того, были категории "другие" по отношению к сакральному миру. К примеру, кузнец. Кузнец издавна считался очень сакральной профессией.

All these movements, actions and words, which at first glance have no meaning in a person's life, blow on the heart of each of us with the charm of the native element and are a living balm for the soul that fills it with powerful strength.

As a rudiment of ancient magical rituals, carols and bounties called on the gods (pagan "Oy Dazhdbozhe!", transformed into "Oh God!") to give the master (or mistress, servant, girl) good health and economic prosperity (which in ancient times was the obverse and reverse of the same medal), associated with a good harvest, favorable conditions for cultivating the land, profits for the lord (especially livestock). By means of artistic similes, epithets, metaphors, the owner, members of his family are glorified and praised, to whom they wish good fortune, health, love, good marriages, etc.
